Ollio Studio – Membership Policy

By signing up to Ollio Studio and maintaining an active membership subscription with us, you agree to this Membership Policy. This policy explains how our service works, what’s included (and what isn’t), and other important details about your membership.

1. Definitions

In this policy:

  • “Membership” or “Subscription” means your ongoing, paid monthly membership subscription with Ollio Studio.

  • “We” or “Us” means Ollio Studio.

  • “You” or “Member” means the individual or business holding an active, paying monthly membership with Ollio.

  • “Website” means the site we design and manage for you under your membership.

  • “Minor Content Changes” means small updates such as text edits, image replacements, or link updates. They do not include new page layouts, design overhauls, or functionality upgrades.

2. Membership Model

Ollio operates on a monthly membership model. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

To activate a membership, you’ll need to provide your contact details and billing information, which is processed securely via Squarespace Payments.

The monthly subscription fee is €149, inclusive of VAT where applicable.

3. What’s Included

Your membership includes:

  • A complimentary website design (no design fees or deposits).

  • Up to five (5) live pages.

  • Hosting on a secure third-party platform.

  • Initial SEO best-practice setup.

  • Ongoing Minor Content Changes, limited to 40 minutes of designer time per month. This covers time spent making requested changes within the website editor (e.g. editing text, swapping images, updating links).

  • Support via email for updates and questions.

Unused time does not roll over to future months.

4. What’s Not Included

Your membership does not cover ecommerce websites, full custom development, third-party integrations requiring custom code, additional pages beyond the included five (5), ongoing SEO monitoring, or domain/email hosting.

Additional services may be available separately as Add-ons.

5. Website Launch Timeline

We aim to launch your website within 14–28 days, provided you supply content and feedback promptly. This timeframe is a target, not a guarantee, and may be extended if there are delays in receiving your materials or feedback.

6. Content Guidelines

We cannot create websites containing:

  • Content you don’t have rights to use.

  • Illegal, harmful, or misleading material.

  • Adult, violent, or drug-related themes.

  • Multi-level marketing or “get-rich-quick” schemes.

  • Excessive advertising, spam, or pop-ups.

Ollio reserves the right to refuse content at its sole discretion if it considers it unsuitable, unlawful, or inconsistent with our values.

7. Updates & Fair Usage

Your membership includes Minor Content Changes, limited to 40 minutes per month of designer time. Typical examples include copy edits, swapping images, or updating links.

Requests that go beyond Minor Content Changes, such as new layouts, major visual updates, or new functionality, will require an Add-on or separate agreement.

A full redesign is not part of the monthly subscription, but Ollio may provide one redesign every 24 months at no additional cost. Extra redesigns before that period are available as Add-ons.

Standard updates are usually completed within 3–5 business days.

8. Buy-Out Option

Websites built under Ollio membership are owned by Ollio. You own the content you provide, but not the design, build, or underlying platform.

If you would like to take full ownership of your website, a Buy-Out Option is available:

  • After maintaining a paid membership for at least 6 months, you may buy the website outright for a one-time fee of €1,799.

  • The buy-out includes transfer of ownership and control of your website.

  • Ollio will assist with the technical transfer process to the extent required by the hosting platform, but after transfer, you are responsible for hosting fees, technical maintenance, and all future management.

Until a buy-out is completed, the website remains the property of Ollio.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing info@ollio.studio.

Your website will remain live until the end of your paid billing cycle. At that point, it will be permanently deleted, unless you have exercised the Buy-Out Option.

No partial refunds are given for mid-cycle cancellations. It’s your responsibility to save any content before deletion.

10. Failed or Disputed Payments

If a payment fails, we’ll attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment remains outstanding for more than 7 days, your website may be taken offline.

If payment remains unpaid for 30 days, your website and its content will be permanently deleted.

If you dispute a valid charge with your bank, your website will be taken offline immediately. If the dispute is not resolved, the site will be permanently deleted.

It is your responsibility to maintain accurate billing details at all times. Ollio is not liable for website loss caused by failed payments due to outdated or incorrect billing information.

We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before deletion.

11. Communication

We primarily communicate by email. Regular meetings are not included in the membership, though urgent calls may be arranged at Ollio’s discretion.

12. Attribution Credit

By default, we may include a small credit (“Site by Ollio Studio”) in your website footer. This helps us keep membership costs affordable. If you prefer, the credit can be removed for an annual fee of €149.

13. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Details of how we handle your data are set out in our Privacy Policy.

14. Liability

Websites provided under this Membership Policy are built and hosted on Squarespace, a third-party platform. Ollio Studio is not affiliated with Squarespace, Inc., and we make no guarantees on their behalf. We are not responsible for downtime, service changes, feature changes, policy changes, or outages caused by Squarespace or any other third-party service integrated into your website.

We will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months before any claim.

Nothing in this policy limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ollio Studio, its owners, and affiliates against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • your use of our services,

  • the content you supply for your website, or

  • any breach of this Membership Policy.

15. Governing Law

This Membership Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the Irish courts.

If you access our services outside Ireland, you are responsible for complying with any local laws that may apply.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update or amend this Membership Policy at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Continued membership means you accept the updated policy.
